IMPORTING IMAGES From a digital camera - Plug the digital video camera into the computer’s USB port.
- iPhoto will launch automatically. Click on the Import button at the bottom of the window.
From an image file - With iPhoto open, select File > Import.
- In the window that opens, find the file and click on the blue Import button.

CROPPING IMAGES
- With the image you want to crop highlighted, click on the Edit button at the bottom of the window.
- Notice that when the cursor is moved over the picture, the pointer changes from an arrow to a cross.
- Place
the cross at the corner of your selection, and drag until you have reached
the size you want. The area that will be removed after cropping will be
grayed.
- Click on the Crop button at the bottom left of the window.

| ORGANIZING IMAGES
Creating an iPhoto album - Select File > New Album or click “+” at the lower left.
- Enter a name for the new album, and it will appear in the column on the left of the window.
Adding a picture to an iPhoto album
- Double click on the Photo Library.
- Find the picture you want to move and drag it into the album.
Removing a picture from an album or the Photo library- Open the album or the library.
- Find the picture you want to move and drag it into the trash.
