You are about to embark on one of the most exciting journeys in your Biology career. You will first discover the characteristics that define life. Then you will explore the two main types of cells. Third, you will travel to the inside of each type of cell and while there, you will land on each organelle, learn its structure, function, and importance to the cell. The fourth stop on your tour lands you in the nucleus where you will explore the nucleolus, chromosomes, DNA and the processes of mitosis and meiosis. The processes of DNA replication and how transcription and translation occur will be highlights of your tour. Here you will explore bacteria cells and be introduced to viruses.
