RESEARCH

The Children's Research Lab, a component of the Psychology Department at the University of Texas, conducts research on the development of children and adolescents. We are currently looking for participants for a study examining how various biological and environmental factors contribute to the emotion recognition abilities of adolescents with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). We are interested in how certain temperamental factors, in combination with an adolescent's experiences with peers, contribute to emotion recognition ability, and more broadly, social and emotional functioning in adolescents with ASD.

If you are interested in learning more about the project, or setting up an appointment, please email the CDCL at CDCL@psy.utexas.edu or call them at 471-5414.
