Palm Master Class

Northstar Memory Safe Backup Module(TM)

Technology Tools: - Participants were provided with serveral peripherals for their Palms in the workshop. These included a leather carrying case designed specifically for the Palm IIIc, and additional charging HotSync cradle so they could sync at home and at school, as well as a backup module for protecting their critical Palm data and applications.


Advanced Palm Features: - Teachers also learned about some advanced Palm features, including shortcuts, Palm's security model, menu strokes, font changes, system preferences and other tips and tricks.

Seeking Software Applications - The workshop also included a section on locating, downloading, and using software applications designed specifically for PDAs. Teachers learned how to navigate websites with PDA software, and then retrieve and uncompress those programs. This helped participants to see the incredible variety and scope of PDA applications currently available.
