James Bowie High School, Austin, TX is seeking two positions for the upcoming 2006-07 season - a Varsity and JV Coach for the Women's Lacrosse team. Bowie HS Women's Lacrosse is an LCUB sport and a member of the Texas HS Lacrosse League-Central District. The ideal candidates should have previous lacrosse playing and/or coaching experience, a love of the game and a strong desire to develop/encourage the team of motivated student athletes.

Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling, team leadership and practice/game duties. Fall practices begin in September with practices of 3x per wk. The season begins in February with games and practices held 4x/wk. Practices are typically held from 5-6:30 pm. Coaches must have flexibility to manage multiple practices during the week as well as week night games and occasional weekend touranments.

Bowie Women's LAX program is also supported by a strong booster club.
