TIPS
for Teachers is a project developed as part of Technology Scaffolds
for Problem-Based Learning, a graduate class at the University
of Texas taught by Dr. Susan Williams.
Development
Team Members:
Luis
Tinoca-Luis
is a doctoral student in Science Education at the
University of Texas at Austin. He taught public school in Portugal
for 3 years prior to returning to work on his doctorate. Luis is currently
working in evaluating the Texas Regional Collaboratives professional
development program for science teachers throughout Texas, and as an
Assistant Intructor in the Physics Depatment of The University of Texas
at Austin. Luis is supported in his work by the Portuguese Science and
Technology Ministry Scholarship since August 2000 until July 2004.
Seung-Hyun
Son-Seung-Hyun is
a doctoral student in Special Education at the University
of Texas at Austin. She taught public in Korea for 2 years and
1 year in the U.S. She is interested in how teachers can help kids with
learning disabilities in general education classrooms. Seung-Hyun will
be helping translate KIDLINK activities into Korean.
Laurie Williams-Laurie is
a doctoral student in Instructional Technology at the University
of Texas. She taught public school for 21 years (Special Ed.
and Gifted Ed.) prior to returning to work on her doctorate. Laurie
is the English
Area Manager of KIDLINK and was part of the I
Have a Dream development
team.
