About Us

MIE is an educational organization officially sponsored by the University of Texas at Austin and the College of Education.

This organization was formed with four major objectives:

· To assist the University in the recruitment of minority students

· To prepare students for careers in education

· To aid in the retention and advancement of enrolled minority students interested in educational careers

· To provide a casual and social atmosphere for members to work with professionals other students in the field of education
