Creating Objects using Video Player, MoviePlayer, and Edit QTVR Object
II. Using MoviePlayer Convert Video Stills to a QuickTime Movie
NOTE: You will need QuickTime 3.0 Pro to be able to create and QuickTime movies using MoviePlayer as shown here.
- Open MoviePlayer. Select "Open Image Sequence..." from the "File" menu.

In the dialog box, locate the folder with your pictures. Select the first image in your sequence of captured video stills and click on "Open."
- On the "Image Sequence Settings" select "1 frame per second" and click "OK."
- Your movie will be assembled in MoviePlayer, but it hasn't been exported yet. Select "Export..." from the "File" menu.
- In the dialog box, give your movie an appropriate file name. Be sure to preserve the .mov extension in the file name. Make sure the export option below the file name is set for "Movie to QuickTime Movie." Click on "Options..."
- In the "Movie Settings" dialog window click on "Settings.."
- This will bring up the "Compression Settings dialog box. This is where you select the codec (compression-decompression) for your movie. (See Selecting a Codec for Your QTVR Object Movie for a discussion on selecting the best compression for your movie.) In this example the Photo-JPEG codec has been selected. A Medium setting has been set on the Quality slider. Under Motion, make sure that Key frame every and Limit data rate to are both unchecked. Click on "OK" when you have finished making your settings. Then click on "OK" on the "Movie Settings" dialog window.
- Finally, click on the "Save" button to export your movie.
