To inform Texas policymakers, educators, families, and students about the importance of socio-cultural equity within the State adopted curriculum and textbooks; to identify current and/or pending issues, policies, legislation, and events impacting or related to socio-cultural equity in the State adopted curriculum and textbooks; and to develop strategies and identify resources to achieve greater socio-cultural understanding and diversity in State adopted curriculum and textbooks.
