We collected children's books at our Spring 2008 initiation to donate to a children's hospital.

Raising Money to Buy School Supplies for Hurricane Katrina Evacuees in Austin
September, 2005

For three days in September, the Delta chapter accepted donations to aid Hurricane Katrina evacuees enrolled in AustinISD schools.  The new students, who fled to Austin during the storm, were in need of basic school supplies to help them in their new classrooms.

Mindy Spearman and Hillary Kelly help chapter counselor, Dr. O.L. Davis, Jr, raise money at the relief table.

The chapter raised $350 to donate to the fund.
