Google Sites is designed to allow you to easily and collaboratively create websites and can be useful for a variety of purposes, including:
- Creating an online curriculum vitae or portfolio;
- Collaborating on an organizational or group website;
- Designing a web quest or other educational website.
General Information
Google Sites works by basically allowing you to:
- Choose a template, which has a pre-constructed look and series of pages, for your site;
- Select site settings, including access permissions and url;
- Edit the content on pages;
- Customize the template elements like the header or logo, sidebar, and so forth.
