What is Lunch n Lose?
Lunch n Lose is a 12 week nutrition and behavior change program developed specifically for individuals who want to lose weight. **Many employers sponsor health and fitness programs; because Lunch n Lose is a new program it is not yet covered out-right by healthcare providers. Flexible Spending accounts can be used - please ask the FIT staff for the appropriate receipt. We encourage you to ask your employer to sponsor this program and because we track and monitor attendance it is possible that you first pay for this program and then ask for re-imbursement upon successful completion. Paying for pounds lost is not ethical; therefore we define success by 90% completion - 1 excused absence. If your employer simply does not have the money to support your efforts, we also recommend asking for a vacation day as a reward or time off to attend the Lunch n Lose meetings.
