I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish Literature from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1992. In 2000, I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park which included a one year internship in the counseling center at George Washington University.  I have been licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Texas since December, 2002.
