Picture of textbook

My first textbook, entitled Applying Counseling Theories, was published in 2007 by Prentice Hall. This book and supplemental materials focuses on the application of counseling theories in a range of different clinical settings. These materials are intended for  students studying counseling theories at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level.  Students using the site will have the opportunity to learn about the application of the theories from the textbook and then log on to the website to read case material, watch videos, and submit case conceptualizations.  After submitting the case conceptualizations, readers can then review how experts representing the 15 different theoretical approaches (authors of the chapter) answered the same questions. The book/website can be ordered for $40.00 by clicking here. The flash intro to the website is also available.

MOJO RISING

I am currently working on a second book with my friend and colleague, Dr. Fred Rabinowitz of Redlands University.  Intended for a broad audience, the book will use our "Mojo Model" to help men identify and overcome problematic male profiles that create conflict in men's lives.  We are currently in the proposal writing stage, still searching for the right title. We do know "Finding your mojo" will be in there somwhere.   What's mojo you ask? Click on Dr. Evil for all you need to know.... for now.
