Mission Statement

The Spinal Cord Injury and Neuromuscular Physiology Laboratories at the University of Texas at Austin combine to form a multidisciplinary research center dedicated to basic human neuromuscular physiology research, investigating methods of recovery and rehabilitation following spinal cord injury, and improving the quality of life for individuals with paralysis.
