The MEA Working Group at UT-Austin

Here is a brief review of what Model-Eliciting Activities (MEAs) are about.
These are the 6 Principles for developing MEAs, based on
Lesh, R., Hoover, M., Hole, B., Kelly, E., & Post, T., 2000.

These activities that we developed are ready for more implementations:
The Brownie Problem
Anita wants to divide up the pan of brownies for the party, but she doesn’t know how many people will
     be there.
The Cupcake Problem
Anita wants to bring cupcakes to the party, but she doesn’t know how many people will be there.
The Team Ranking Problem
Help the soccer officials rank the top five teams in the district.
