District Effectiveness and Compliance

 http://www.esc7.net/esc7/support/dec.html

This site leans more towards school support for the District Effectiveness and Compliance.  It gives programs that are examined through DEC.  This site will give you many examples on what needs to be done and how they should be done.

 http://www.esc20.k12.tx.us/dec

This site gives you a variety of different programs and resources.  It gives you a basic overview of DEC, preparation for a DEC visit, and TEA resources.  There is also a list of special program indicators.  Some of these include Title I, II, and more.  This tells parents everything they want to know about a student who is receiving special education services.  It states the State and Federal Laws specifically.  It tells what students should receive and what they should not, how they may be treated, and what is and will be confidential.  This is a great brochure for parents who have kids receiving special education.

This website has a link to just about everything you can think of that would deal with a student with disabilities.  There are links that go to most of the sites that are above

Please give us feedback in our guestbook we would enjoy to hear from you.
