Welcome to TPFLE
Texas Papers in Foreign Language Education (TPFLE) is the student-run online journal of the Foreign Language Education Program at the University of Texas at Austin. TPFLE is devoted to the promotion of scholarly discussion of pedagogical and theoretical issues in the fields of Foreign/Second Language Education, Teaching of English as a Foreign/Second Language, and Applied Linguistics related to language learning and teaching.
TPFLE has been published since the Spring 1988 issue (Volume 1, No. 1). Paper copies of selected issues from that date to Spring 2007 (Volume 10, No. 1) can be found in the Perry-Casteñeda Library and in the office of Foreign Language Education of the University of Texas at Austin.
