Human Subjects/IRB

Foreign Language Education faculty members and graduate students are actively involved in Human Subjects Research. This research is highly regulated by the federal and state government. These regulations are enforced through the University by the Institute Research Board (IRB) in the Office of Research Support and Compliance (ORSC) and at the departmental level. You may view the regulations and policies for submitting Human Subjects, as well as other types of research proposals, through the Office of Research Support and Compliance. Please keep in mind that Human Subjects research requires departmental approval prior to approval by the University IRB.
