31st Annual Alderson Lecture Celebrates Students, Science and Hall of Honor Inductees April 26, 2012
The Alderson Lecture is an annual spring event hosted by the College of Education’s Department of Kinesiology and Health Education. The lecture was established to honor the late Dr. C. J. ("Shorty") Alderson and the late Dr. Mary Buice Alderson, who were former faculty members in the department. Now in its 31st year, the event is an opportunity to hear from an accomplished national scientist about some of the latest research, announce inductees into the department’s Hall of Honor and recognize outstanding graduate and undergraduate students.
