Profile

Deborah Lentz is a native Texan who has worked in the education field most of her life. Deborah taught kindergarten for 10 years and then second grade for 2 years in Round Rock Independent School District. During that time Deborah served as the first district-wide kindergarten chairperson assisting the district curriculum superintendent as a liaison with teachers. She taught numerous workshops for the district and for ESC Region XIII. After receiving her Masters Degree, her Mid-Management Certification and her Doctorate Degree, she was hired by Austin Independent School District to work in central office in supervising the instructional program for all pre-kindergarten,
kindergarten, first & second grade teachers in the 79 of the elementary campuses in Austin ISD. Currently, Deborah teaches Early Childhood Education classes to college students at the University of Texas College of Education.
