Research Interests and Expertise
Amanda's research emphasis is on effective, data based interventions for young children with special needs and behavioral challenges and their families. Specific areas of interest include applied behavior analysis, positive behavior supports, and intervention strategies that support and teach children and families in their home, school, and community settings. Amanda is the coordinator for the Early Childhood Special Education area and works closely with the Autism and Developmental Disabilities program.
