AISD and RRISD Online Placement System

This system will allow you to both view AISD and RRISD cooperating teachers who are available to host preservice teachers and assign your students to those placements.

As soon as you click on the link below, you will be asked for your EID and password. You must be authorized to use this system in order to gain access. All University Coordinators are automatically authorized. University Facilitators will need to attend a training session held by the Education Services Office in order to be authorized. Please contact Christal Rosa at christalrosa@austin.utexas.edu for more information about University Facilitator authorization.

If a school has a primary coordinator, please contact the coordinator before making any placements in that school.  If you have any questions about primary coordinators or need to change the schools to which you are assigned, please contact Christal Rosa at christalrosa@austin.utexas.edu.

Fall 2012 Placement Timeline

February 29	AISD CT applications may be given/sent to cooperating teachers
March 5	RRISD CT applications may be given/sent to cooperating teachers
March 23	All CT applications due to to AISD and RRISD
April 4 - 18	Placement Period: UT coordinators enter AISD and RRISD placements online and submit placement worksheets for all other district placements
April 18	Intern Placements: All AISD and RRISD CTs must be marked in the OPS to hold
April 18	Student Teacher Placements: All finalized placements due
May 4	Intern Placements: All finalized placements due
May 4	All "other" district placements due
May 7	Confirmation letters may be sent to AISD and RRISD CTs
May	AISD and RRISD criminal history check applications
August 21	Mandatory RRISD Student Teacher Orientation 9:00 a.m. @ Central Administration Boardroom 1311 Round Rock Ave Round Rock, TX Note: STs should arrive early for badge pictures to be made.
August 23	Mandatory RRISD Student Teacher Orientation Make-Up 1:00 p.m. @ Round Rock ISD Central Administration Boardroom 1311 Round Rock Ave Round Rock, TX Note: STs should arrive early for badge pictures to be made.
August 29	First Day of UT classes
August 29	Mandatory PISD Student Teacher Orientation 9:00 a.m. @ Pflugerville ISD PISD Administration Building 1401 W. Pecan St. Pflugerville, TX
September 12 (tentative)	AISD Mandatory Student Teacher Orientation and Optional Substitute Orientation 5:00 p.m. @ Delco Activity Center 4601 Pecan Brooke Drive Austin, TX Note: The session starts promptly at 5 p.m. and will conclude by 6:30; therefore it is imperative that all students arrive on time.  They will not allow students in after the session begins.  Also, a picture will be taken during the session for the substitute ID Badge. Note: Students MUST attend in order to sign up to be a substitute.  No other Substitute Orientations will be offered.
