RRISD Administrative Offices**

1311 Round Rock Ave.

Round Rock, TX

* Required for all apprentice teachers placed in RRISD

** Orientation is held in the Old Hopewell building (restored building in front of RRISD administrative offices at 1311 Round Rock Ave).  Students should report to the lobby of the administration building as they arrive to have pictures taken for name badges, then walk over to Old Hopewell (next door) for orientation.
August 20

September 10 Cooperating Teacher Mentor Training 6 - 8 p.m. TCC 2.102 Cooperating Teachers of apprentice teachers who have not had previous mentor training are required to attend.
September 15 Job Search Tools Workshop- School Districts Recruiter Panel 5 - 6:30 p.m. SZB 104 (Al Kiva) All apprentice teachers must attend at least one Job Search Tools Workshop. Presenting Panel includes: Austin ISD, Del Valle ISD, Elgin ISD, Keller ISD, Leander ISD, Lockhart ISD, Northeast ISD, Plano ISD, and Spring Branch ISD.
 September 22 AISD Mandatory Apprentice Teacher Orientation*  5 - 7 p.m.*

* Required for all apprentice teachers placed in AISD
September  30  School Law Seminar 5:30-7:30 p.m. UTC 1.144 All UTeach Liberal Arts and Kinesiology apprentice teachers are required to attend the School Law Seminar. Also required for any EC-4 or EC-4 Bilingual apprentice teachers who have not attended previously. 
 October 6 Job Search Tools Workshop - Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills (Elementary) 5-6:30 p.m. UTC 4.132 All apprentice teachers must attend at least one Job Search Tools Workshop. This workshop is designed for those who plan to teach elementary grade levels.
 October 21 Job Search Tools Workshop - Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills (Secondary) 5:30-7 p.m. UTC 4.132 All apprentice teachers must attend at least one Job Search Tools Workshop. This workshop is designed for those who plan to teach secondary grade levels.
November 4 College of Education Teacher Education Career Fair

9 - 12:30 p.m. (Browsing)

1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
