My research interests are in the roles that sport and sport culture play in the lives of individuals through families, communities, work environments, and social networks. By researching and better understanding the factors that facilitate or impede the positive contributions that sport can have in the lives of individuals, I intend to provide sport managers with the tools necessary for making more efficient and effective decisions within their organization. More specifically, my research currently focuses on organizational structures that optimize community building and development in a way that improves the life quality for participants, employees, and fans.
