Julee Guinn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Baylor University, where she ran cross-country and earned first place in the ACIS National Fitness Competition. She then earned a Masters of Science in Education with specialization in Sport Pedagogy from Baylor University, where she taught and developed a running program through their Department of Health and Human Performance. She came to The University of Texas in 2008 and lives in central Austin with her husband Trey and daughters Joy and Evelyn.
