Program Description
The Sport Management program at The University of Texas has a distinct advantage in that the school is recognized as a top research institution with a nationally recognized athletic program.
Admission to our graduate and undergraduate programs is done on a competitive basis. The result has been high caliber students who are well prepared for the classroom challenges provided by top faculty and are in turn able to compete for the best internships and positions.
A majority of Texas' intercollegiate athletic teams are nationally ranked and routinely compete for national championships. Students in Sport Management, at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, have been able to gain developmental experience in the athletic department. Several former program graduates hold positions with UT Intercollegiate Athletics. These areas include coaching, academic counseling, ticketing, and fund raising.
