- 3-6 hours additional advisor-approved coursework
Exercise and Sport Psychology (18-21 hrs)
- HED 395 Theories of Health Behavior (3)
- KIN 395 Social Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity (3)
- KIN 395 Exercise and Mental Health (3)
- KIN 382 Conference Laboratory: Topic 7: Clinical Exercise Physiology: Theory and Practice or Topic 8: Laboratory Techniques in Sport Sciences

*Thesis must be taken for at least two consecutive semesters. An approved copy of the thesis proposal must be submitted to the Graduate Adviser prior to clearance for any student enrolling in 698b (second semester of thesis).

Up to nine hours of adviser-approved upper division undergraduate coursework may be counted toward a master's degree provided all nine hours are not taken either within or outside the department.
If the adviser-approved statistics course is taken outside the department, only three additional hours must be taken from outside the department.
Up to twenty percent of the required hours may be taken on a credit/no credit basis; however, this department requires approval of the graduate adviser prior to the twelfth class day. Prerequisite courses may not be taken on a credit/no credit basis.
