Clinical Exercise Physiology Internships
The primary purposes of the internship are to apply acquired knowledge in a real work setting and to develop and enhance practical skills through an experimented learning opportunity. Additionally, internship experience may help student review and revise their career choices and find the first professional position. Each graduate student is responsible for locating and obtaining an internship position corresponding to his/her long-term career goals. Your advisor will facilitate the process by providing students with resources on potential places and by contacting internship site supervisors in their field of interest.
Students are expected to spend the equivalent of nine laboratory hours a week for one semester. The provision of a monetary stipend is at the discretion of each internship site. Recent internship sites include cardiac rehabilitation, corporate or worksite wellness program, research laboratory, etc
