Recent News
This past year (2010-2011) our community service activities included volunteering at “Coats for Kids” in December and a Valentines-making event for hospitalized children in the community. We also designed t-shirts for our organization, and are planning to sell them as a fundraiser in the fall.
Upcoming Events
Our first community service event of the fall 2011 semester is scheduled for September 4th. We are going to be volunteering at Posada Esperanza, a shelter for immigrant women and children in East Austin. While we are there we will read and play outside with the children, and help clean and complete minor repairs on the houses.
Ongoing Projects
We are currently helping to make our suite a more comfortable and welcoming space. We will be starting our painting project on August 26!
