Proficiency exams are not administered in Domains 3, 4, and 5. However, prior coursework may be required.

In order to enroll in a Domain 3 course, students must have taken undergraduate or graduate introductory courses in the past five years in developmental psychology, or have read basic books selected from the ones below.

OR

In order to enroll in a Domain 4 course, students must have taken undergraduate or graduate introductory courses in the past five years in social and personality psychology, or they should read the texts listed below (or their equivalent).

Personality

Students may enroll in a Domain 5 course without having prior knowledge of the domain.
