EDP Student Internships Matches, 2012-2013

The Department of Educational Psychology is pleased to report that our Counseling Psychology and School Psychology doctoral students (100%) matched with APA accredited internships for 2012-2013.  This compares to a 73% national rate of applicants being matched during this phase of the process. Students must complete a 1500 hour full-time internship in a setting approved by the program director. Department approved internships provide a stipend and supervision by a qualified (PhD) psychologist. Most students pursue APA-accredited internships outside of the Austin area.  Congratulations to our outstanding students.
