Overview
There are two degree types available for the master's specialization in Quantitative Methods. The MEd degree (no report/thesis option) requires a minimum of 30 credit hours with six of those credits in supporting work. The MA degree has the same requirements but also requires either an additional six credit hours for the thesis option or three additional credit hours for the master’s report option. The advisor of the thesis or report must be a faculty member of the Quantitative Methods area in the Department of Educational Psychology.
A minimum of twelve semester hours of upper-division coursework in psychology or educational psychology, or an appropriate equivalent, is a prerequisite for this area.
