Introduction

Our nationally ranked program transforms educators into insightful, thriving school leaders who want to make schools successful for all children, regardless of student backgrounds or differences. Guided by two main principles, our program fosters a deep commitment to social justice and equitable schooling for all students and an emphasis on the role of school principals as instructional leaders who are highly involved in organizing and developing schools focused on effective teaching and learning. Our students and graduates from across the country hold great promise as educational leaders for both our state and nation, and we fully expect that our next cadre of educational leaders will join them to do so as well.
