We are pleased to announce the following scholarships/fellowships for continuing students in the Educational Administration program. Please print and submit your completed paper application to the Educational Administration Department, SZB 374. Contact our Graduate Coordinator, Hortensia Palomares (512.471-7551), if you have any questions.  The application is best viewed and printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

General Application Requirements

  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • No incomplete grades
  • No withdrawals
  • Meet specific scholarship/fellowship requirements (See the following)

Scholarships and Fellowships Available

  • Alexander Caswell Ellis Fellowship in Educational Administration

    Criteria:  Income to benefit graduate students in the College of Education who intend to serve adult populations.  Bachelor’s degree from a Texas college or university.  May be awarded multiple times to same individual

  • Joseph L. Henderson and Katherine D. Henderson Foundation Student Scholarship

    Criteria:  Assistance to worthy young men and young women who would otherwise find it difficult financially to attend the University.  Preference for College of Education students.

  • Sanchez-Marres Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Educational Administration

    Criteria:  Scholarships to graduate students with financial need and high academic achievement.  Recipient must have at least 3.25 GPA in graduate work.  First preference to student in field of education of Hispanics and to students actively participating in nonpartisan community and civic affairs.

  • George I. Sanchez Endowed Presidential Fellowship

    Criteria:  Outstanding graduate student within the College of Education enrolled in consecutive long sessions and full-time status during award period; Involved in leadership roles in current or prior university or industry settings.  Financial need may be considered.

  • Teresa Lozano Long Endowed Graduate Fellowship

    Criteria:  Outstanding graduate students of any academic concentration within the College of Education.  Recipients should be Texas residents and have demonstrated financial need. Award may be renewed; however, students should be required to reapply for consideration each year.
