The Higher Education Administration Program (HEAP) is an academic concentration within the Program in Higher Education Leadership (PHEL).

The objective of the Doctoral Program in Higher Education Administration is to prepare, train and educate students to become leaders in the administration of colleges and universities, scholars who can bring about greater understanding of higher education through research, and teachers who can pass on knowledge of the past and equip students with the ability to work with an ever-changing higher education environment in the future.

The Higher Education Administration program at The University of Texas at Austin proudly invites applications for three new awards that recognize student and alumni excellence. We invite applications for two prestigious graduate student awards and one alumni award meant to honor academic and service excellence within our scholarly and professional community.
