Admissions Deadline
Students interested in applying to graduate programs must first apply to the Graduate and International Admissions Center (GIAC). For questions regarding C&I, FLE or STEM admissions, please contact Stephen Flynn, Graduate Coordinator.
General Guidelines from the GIAC
All programs within Curriculum and Instruction require the following items:
- GIAC Online Application
Select the appropriate major on the drop-down menu. Note: STEM Education and Foreign Language Education (FLE) require a specific major selection. Applicants to all other programs should select Curriculum and Instruction as their major. - Test Scores
- Official Transcripts
- Supporting Materials
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Statement of Purpose
- Three letters of Reference
- Supplemental Non-English Writing Sample (Bilingual/Bicultural Education applications only)
Interdisciplinary Programs: FLE and STEM
Graduate degrees in Foreign Language Education and STEM Education are interdisciplinary programs operated in collaboration with faculty members across the University.
When completing the online application for admission, FLE and STEM are not considered a specialization within the Curriculum and Instruction graduate major, but are noted as separate graduate majors.
