New Student Orientation
The C&I Department hosts an orientation session for new students just before the fall semester each year, usually in late August. This session, although not mandatory, is highly recommended. Check back here for information about 2013’s orientation.
Graduate Student Listserv: CANDIGRAD
The CANDIGRAD listserv is an email list service for graduate students in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Receive regular information and updates regarding scholarships and fellowships, academic conferences, job opportunities, university deadlines, special events and much more.

Consortium for Research in Teacher Education (CRTE)
An interdisciplinary graduate student organization, the Consortium for Research in Teacher Education (CRTE) promotes rigorous quality research on the education of teachers in a variety of contexts. The consortium fosters collaboration among its members as well as external partnerships that support and influence teacher education.
SALTtx: Student Association for Learning Technologies at UT
The College of Education at The University of Texas at Austin has a graduate program that focuses on Learning Technologies. Current students and alumni with a focus on Learning Technologies are encouraged to join the SALTtx group. We also welcome interested current students or graduates of UT who have taken graduate courses in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Learning Technologies. It is our intention to expand our academic and professional network and collaborate on current trends in Learning Technologies through our discussion areas.
