Individual Instruction Courses
Individual Instruction Courses, by definition, have no organized meeting time. The following Curriculum and Instruction courses are designated as Individual Instruction. note: There are additional C&I Individual Instruction courses not listed below, and the FLE and STEM programs also have individual instruction courses.

All students registering for an individual instruction course, other than dissertation hours, must do the following:
- Complete an Individual Instruction Consent (IIC) form.
- Obtain your supervising instructor’s permission by email or by obtaining their signature on the form.
- Turn the completed form in to the department office (SZB 406) for processing.
Please note: The form must be signed by your supervising instructor or you must attach a copy of the instructor's permission email to the form if you have obtained permission by email.
Submission of this form will enable you to add the course(s) during your next available registration or add/drop access period. You must register yourself for these courses.
Individual Instruction Consent forms are available in the department office (SZB 406) or on the hallway bulletin board across from the department office. You may also download the form from the Forms area of this website or by clicking the appropriate link below.
