PETE Master of Education Degree Program plus Physical Education Teacher Certification
Masters of Education (MEd) Plus EC-12 Physical Education Teacher Certification in the State of Texas
In the Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) program, a graduate student can obtain EC-12 physical education teaching certification as part of their masters (MEd). Customized coursework, based on the student’s educational and work experiences, can simultaneously be completed in the post-baccalaureate program (teaching certification) and graduate program. In most cases, the degree can still be obtained within a two year period. The program is designed for students with a bachelors degree in areas other than physical education teacher education. Please contact Dr. Dolly Lambdin for more information about this program.
