Introduction to the Teaching of the English Language Arts (Minimum: 3 hours), selected from the following:

Specialization (Minimum: 18 hours, 9 to be taken within Language and Literacy Studies)

Selections from the following courses are governed by the specialization of choice, for example, elementary language arts or reading, secondary/ junior college English or reading, K-12 English language arts or reading, clinical reading, reading specialist, literacy acquisition, literary theory, and composition.
