The Language and Literacy Studies program aims to cultivate excellence in the teaching of reading and language arts. Our faculty are deeply invested in the undergraduate teacher preparation program. We offer graduate degree programs that focus on all aspects of literacy development and teaching. The faculty are also committed to research that informs the development of theoretical principles to guide practice.
