How to Access our CSE Community Blackboard

1. Go to the following address........ http://courses.utexas.edu/
2. Once there it will request your UT EID that will take you to the blackboard page
3. Once you are in the page of "My Blackboard" just click the tab for "Community" at the top right side of the page
4. And you will find "Cultural Studies at Curriculum and Instruction Department GSE"...and that's it...click that one and you’re there.

You can relay any information or time-sensitive announcements to Patricio Ortiz (prortiz@mail.utexas.edu) who will post for you. Also let him know if you’d like to open discussion forums on certain topics or form special interest groups facilitated by easy blackboard communication functions. Examples of special interest groups might include: Mujeres en Educación, Postcolonial Reading Group, Chicana Feminism Reading Group, The Writing Support Group, Hodgepodge Social Theory Reading Group, etc. And please let Patricio know if you’d like to add people from other program areas to both the community blackboard and to your special interest group. All are welcome!
