The Curriculum Studies program specialization is intended to prepare generalists in curriculum and instruction, with the option of additional study in one or more supporting fields (e.g., social studies education). Students in the Curriculum Studies specialization acquire competencies necessary for positions as teacher educators, master teachers, teacher supervisers and instructional leaders, curriculum designers and evaluators, and producers of curriculum materials for classrooms (K-12, college, government, and business).
