IE Promotes Self-Awareness

“Lucia Cardenas, Ph.D. doctoral student, and Alejandra Gonzalez, undergraduate student, form part of the Intellectual Entrepreneurship (IE) Pre-Graduate School Internship Program at the College of Education UT Austin. During the semester, Lucia gives Alejandra insight on life as a graduate student. They are currently working together on a qualitative research study and are presenting at a conference. Alejandra’s shares: “The IE program has allowed me to expand my horizons, and develop amazing networks. My mentor and I have developed a trusting relationship.” Lucia and Alejandra were also appointed to the 2013 Bilingual-Bicultural Faculty Search Committee by the College of Education.
