Howard Hughes Medical Institute Funds 10 UTeach Replication Sites

On March 18 the UTeach Institute released a national request for proposals (RFP) to fund UTeach replication at 10 research universities. This opportunity is being funded by a gift of 22.5 million from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute to the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI). Michael Marder, UTeach Co-Director was in Washington DC for an event at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy to highlight this announcement. To date, the UTeach Institute has funded replication of the UTeach secondary STEM teacher preparation program at 33 universities nationally.
