Department of Curriculum & Instruction

Sheri Crossett is a Lecturer in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and a Cohort Coordinator for pre-service teacher education specializing in grades EC-6 with ESL certification.  Sheri received her Master’s in Educational Administration from Texas State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin.  Sheri is proud to have worked in the field of public education for 20 years in the following capacities:  elementary teacher, grade level leader, curriculum developer, grant writer, consultant, staff development presenter, teacher mentor, reading specialist, testing coordinator, and ESL campus coordinator.  Sheri is passionate about working with pre-service teachers at UT and mentoring teachers in local school districts to ensure that all children have excellent teachers in their classrooms.
