Profile
Debra Bay-Borelli is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and a Cohort Coordinator for preservice teacher education specializing in grades EC-6 with ESL certification. Dr. Bay-Borelli received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in Curriculum & Instruction specializing in Early Childhhood. She recieved her master's degree in reading literacy from the State University of New York at Cortland. A former public school teacher, reading specialist, curriculum developer and administrator, Dr. Bay-Borelli presently teaches undergraduate methods courses such as EDC 371G: Teaching Young Children and EDC 331C: School Organization & Classroom Management coupled with overseeing the preparation of UT elementary preservice teachers.
