Media Production

Media production equipment and services are available at the LTC Services desk, SZB 536.

The LTC provides the supplies, facilities, equipment, and instruction for students, faculty, and staff to produce a variety of digital and audio-visual media. Much of the Media Production equipment is available for use on a first-come first-served basis, but some production areas and equipment may be reserved in advance for scheduled blocks of time.

The LTC sells basic AV production supplies. Cash, checks, or interdepartmental transfer are accepted. Basic production tools and non-consummable supplies are available for room-use checkout with a UT ID.

Media instruction is a large part of the LTC's service, providing students with the knowledge and skills to properly use AV and multimedia equipment to produce effective instructional materials. The LTC offers free informal Multimedia and AV Orientations.

LTC Services staff can provide basic graphic, photography, audio, and video production services to the faculty and staff of the College of Education at reasonable rates. They also provide audio and video tape and CD/DVD duplication services.
