The COE Education Visualization Lab was created to allow College of Education researchers to use visualization techniques and visual data analysis to better see and understand patterns, structures, and trends in large and complex datasets.
The lab is equipped with a high resolution, 64 million pixel tiled display of fifteen 30" monitors; a workstation with Processing, a visualization programming language; and a 73" 3-D monitor with 3-D glasses for developing three-dimensional visualizations.
College of Education researchers who wish to use the lab should contact Ken Tothero, LTC Coordinator for External and Special Projects, to get an orientation to the lab and its systems.
